Regards #34 This car was probably Brewster green when new in 1910. The top layer of paint over the years has oxidized, worn away, leaving the black primer coat visable today. This is a very common occurance for cars of this vintage.

My Dad, Wm. C. Sylvester, restored antique (true antique) automobiles in his garage in Shrewsbury, Mass. He restored an auto exactly like the one pictured & used it as an advertising vehicle for his garage, Sylvester's Motor Service." Bill was well-known as a restorer uo & down the East coast. Dad passed away long ago, in 1964 and, unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to the 1903 Ford or any of his other cars. I have much more I could add, but I'm sure space is limited in this comment section.

Shana, it's a good question. I shoot events and make reasonable attempts to inform people that the pictures will be published on the internet. The opening page of my site says in part: "If you're here using the web link on my business card or brochure, you will find one or more of your pictures available inside..." These photographs are available to the person photographed. Many viewers choose not to purchase prints, and so I believe that my site is still performing primarily as a news outlet, as it operated for years before I chose to pursue photography professionally. Events are newsworthy, so most photos on the site are available for editorial usage. When published editorially, the people photographs are then available for personal use, non-commercial print purchases. For commercial sale, my licensing page follows with "If you want to use photos for other than editorial (i.e. commercial) purposes such as selling or promoting products/parties, you must have authorization from the people in the photo and in some cases the property on which the event took place." The only people pictures I explicitly offer for commercial use are those in the 'Portraits - Stock' section of my galleries, and are model released. I will and, have, removed photos as requested by the people in the images. I hope this answers your question adequately but, don’t hesitate to follow-up the discussion.
